Participation in Photonics Europe 2026

We are pleased to share that Project Move2Treat – EU HORIZON EIC 2024 PATHFINDER OPEN was represented at SPIE Photonics Europe 2026, held from 12 to 16 April.

Our team contributed to the conference with two presentations highlighting key technologies aligned with the project’s vision.

Andreas Ioannou presented work on femtosecond laser fabricated fiber Bragg gratings in multifunctional polymer fibers, advancing temperature sensing capabilities in complex environments.

Kyriacos Kalli presented on flexible multimaterial polymer fiber implants for integrated brain interrogation, showcasing innovative approaches in neural interfacing.

📸 A few moments from the conference are captured in the images below, highlighting the strong presence of our team and the exchange of ideas within the photonics and neurotechnology community.

These contributions reflect the interdisciplinary expertise within Move2Treat, combining photonics, materials science, and neurotechnology to support the development of next generation biomedical devices.
