The “Neural Devices and Gas Photonics group” of DTU Electro has strong expertise in modelling, optical materials, lasers and optical fiber fabrication, focused on development of minimally invasive multifunctional fiber-based neural devices using advanced biocompatible materials.

The “Laboratory for Biomedical Microtechnology” of IMTEK and IMBIT offers unique expertise in the development and manufacturing of neural probes, biocompatible packaging and the assembly of implantable devices.

The “Photonic Sonsors Laboratory of Cyprus University of Technology brings unique expertise in laser-material interactions in glassy and polymeric materials, with a focus on femtosecond laser inscription and lithography for sub-micron-scale optical devices in fiber waveguides.

In order to develop a new theory and evaluate the development of the Move2Treat interface, Berg’s lab will contribute in motor control function using large array electrophysiology and imaging.
