Move2Treat participation in WSOF 2025 in Prague!

🌐 Celebrating Innovation at WSOF 2025 in Prague! 🌐

We’re thrilled to share that our partners from Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), DTU – Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and the University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet) have actively attended and presented at the 8th International Workshop on Specialty Optical Fibers and Their Applications .

Held in the heart of Prague, this prestigious workshop brought together global experts in photonics and specialty optical fiber technologies, with a spotlight on transformative technologies with regards of fiber fabrication and application designs.

A key highlight was the representation of the Move2Treat project, an exciting interdisciplinary initiative focused on the development and application of innovative optical fiber technologies.

A special shout-out to:
Christos Markos (DTU) presented “Deep brain temperature sensing using polymer fiber Bragg grating implants”
Marcello Meneghetti (University of Copenhagen & DTU) shared his work on “Brain and spinal cord interrogation with multimaterial bidirectional interfaces based on polymer optical fibers”
Andreas Ioannou (CUT) presented a poster on “Femtosecond laser inscription of FBG in novel multifunctional fibre”

👏 We are incredibly proud of your contributions to the global scientific community and honored to support such trailblazing research and collaboration.
📸 Below are some snapshots from the event, capturing inspiring talks, brilliant minds at work, and the spirit of collaboration that defines WSOF.
Looking forward to many more opportunities to support world-class innovation together!
