On July 5th, 2024, the kick-off meeting for the Move2Treat research project took place in the city of Copenhagen, marking the beginning of the Move2Treat project, funded by EIC Pathfinder Open. Organized and led by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the event brought together the project’s consortium from the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (UFR), and the University of Copenhagen (UCPH).
During the meeting, each partner presented their detailed plans for the project’s implementation, showcasing a commitment to leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and interdisciplinary expertise. The kick-off concluded with a tour in the DTU fasciities and laboratories.
Following the formal proceedings, Professor Rune Berg from UCPH treated the participants to a complementary boat ride through the rivers of Copenhagen. The day concluded with a delightful dinner organized by the host, DTU, providing an excellent opportunity for further networking and strengthening the collaborative spirit among the partners.
The Move2Treat project is now officially underway, with a shared vision of achieving minimally invasive, soft multifunctional neural devices leading to improved mapping of brain and spinal cord neural activity.
