Exciting contributions from emerging researchers, including Emilija Bostogaite as part of the Move2Treat – EU HORIZON EIC Pathfinder project, alongside Prof. Thomas Stieglitz’s exciting talk at the NeuroConnect 2026: Organoid Neurophysiology Workshop at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Campus South!
This 1-day interdisciplinary workshop brought together international experts and the local Rhine Valley scientific community to advance in vitro human brain models enhanced by electrical stimulation. The goal is to better replicate human brain physiology and accelerate progress toward understanding and treating neurological disorders.
Our PhD candidates, Emilija Bostogaite and Ioana-Georgiana V., had the opportunity to contribute by presenting different aspects of their ongoing research with posters, the former as part of the Project Move2Treat – EU HORIZON EIC 2024 PATHFINDER OPEN.
Additionally, our head of the laboratory, Prof. Thomas Stieglitz contributed with an exciting talk titled “Foil-Based Arrays to Monitor and Intervene with Organoids, Brain Slices and CAM Assays”.
