Our recent publication on the flexible multimodal neural interface (https://lnkd.in/d3ZX-44D) has been featured in Photonics Spectra.
It is always encouraging to see our work gaining visibility beyond academic journals and reaching the wider photonics and technology community.
The feature highlights how our soft neural interface integrates electrical recording, optical stimulation and chemical sensing in a single device, with important implications for epilepsy research and future neurotechnology applications. It is a strong example of how interdisciplinary innovation, combining photonics, microfluidics and neuroscience, is gaining recognition beyond academia.
The work was led by Christos Markos (DTU – Technical University of Denmark) , with key contributions from Rune Berg (University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet)) and Rob Wykes UCL, London).
